MMM Messner Mountain Museum Firmian
At Firmiano Castle, one of the oldest castle complexes in South Tyrol, built on a porphyry stone near Bolzano, Reinhold Messner realised his dream of a museum entitled “The Enchanted Mountain”. The confrontation between man and mountain is explored on the paths, stairs and in the towers. An annual special exhibition complements the trail. In 2021 the special exhibition GROWING MOUNTAINS MASUYAMA will be showcased.
MMM Firmiano can also be reached by bicycle from Andriano.
