Castle triangle hike

Hike to Castle Hocheppan, the ruins of Castle Boymont and Schloss Hotel Korb.

Starting point of the hike is the car park just before the Ebnerhof refreshment stop in Missiano. You reach Castle Hocheppan within 1/2 hour after an elevation gain of 250 m. Refreshment opportunity. From there, go down to the left. A signpost indicates: »Burgenweg«. Climb downhill for approx. 90m to the stream. On the opposite side, the trail goes up again, partly via wooden stairs with railings on both sides, for a total of 100 metres. After a leisurely walk in the forest, the route runs back down again for 70 metres and then up again. It takes about an hour to reach the ruins of Castle Boymont from Castle Hocheppan. Descend on the “Burgenweg”, past HotelSchloss Korb and follow the road back to the car park.
