If you take a short walk up to Schlossbichl, you will immediately notice the magnificent chestnut grove. This is where most of Andriano’s chestnuts grow.
These small autumn fruits are part of the South Tyrolean tradition. In autumn, at Törggelen time, these delicious fruits are roasted in all the taverns and farm inns.
Andrian chestnuts can also be tasted during the Chestnut Days in October.
